Need Driver's Side Front Quarter Panel

Good morning! I hope all is well.

My brother recently was in a fender bender in his 2015 KL and we are in the process of replacing the front pieces that were damaged. I already found the headlight and DRL but I am need of the drivers side quarter panel. I have been all over craigslist and called several of my local junkyards. Anyone have a parts car or seen anything near the Michigan / Ohio area?

I have checked eBay and can buy a brand new one easily, just trying to save him some cash.

Thank you in advance for any pointers! Thanks!

Mike

Re: Need Driver's Side Front Quarter Panel

Hello fellow Michigander. Having been in the auto body repair business long ago, let me give you my thoughts.

First of all, I do not know if or how many years the body style stayed the same as yours is a 2015. Might be hard to find if it is a recent change. And most cars that are totaled are hit in the front.

Most junk yards have a network to find parts, you should ask if they will search for you.

Also, call it the "drivers side front fender", the quarter panel is what they call the rear "fender".

Last resort is to buy one from the dealer.

Re: Need Driver's Side Front Quarter Panel

I ended up working out a deal on the price at the Jeep dealership and bought a brand new fender. We needed to get it fixed before winter arrives.
