Has anyone seen an over the air (OTA) update pop up on your uConnect? I see this covers MY 13 on up....finally! This will take care of having to go to the dealer for s/w updates....It's a phase rollout...just wondering if any of you have this it yet.
Have not seen it yet ..... mentioned it to my servicing dealer ( he stated that he was not aware of any "over the air" updates. ( He said he would get back with me if he hears about one )
Me either. Been waiting for the update since I received the email on 9/1/2017 that said it would happen "in the next few days". Bigger issue for me is that my 2014 has maps dated 2012, so I purchased the new maps - also in September - unaware that I would need the new software update in order to install them. Many contacts with MOPAR and UCONNECT always give me the same answers - "it's coming, but we don't know when and can't find out" and/or "wait until the end of the (whatever the current month is) month and we'll have a download version available". So far, none of that has actually happened and I'm starting to feel like I'm out the $175.00 I paid for the map updates. Very frustrating. Already dreading when my 2016 Durango will need some sort of update ...
"My Bad".... I no longer own my 2014 Latitude .. I own a 2016 Trailhawk !
I have never changed/updated my screen name (sorry)
Sorry for the confusion ... I know that the update is rolling out to different area's at different times. ( I'm in northeast Ohio ) if that helps.
No, but it was my understanding they were being rolled outover time.
Several things need to happen from what I understand.
#1 You have to have cellular coverage, specific carrier, used by FCA in your area.
#2 You haver to have the latest u-connect software on your system. That is the one with Siri I believe from around 7/2016.
I do not recall the name of the carrier but I remember there is no/poor coverage in my area. So unless I get into an area for extended period to allow the download I probably will not get it.
Received my notice the other day when traveling back home. Notice came on when I started the engine and the download took place as I drove. No issues with the down load. Just noticed
a change on the order of the icons but nothing really outstanding.
Download took place during a 2 hours trip without incident. Took about an hour for the whole download and install to take place.

If you vehicle qualifies fir the Over the Air update it will show up no matter what previous software version is on your Uconnect system. The Over the Air update will bring your system's software level to 17.11.07. If you'd like to send us a PM with your VIN I'd be happy to check if this update applies to your vehicle.
Have a 2014 Overland and received the OTA update this week. It cleared out all my presets and now it won't connect to my Bluetooth for iPhone. The screens are different and have more features, but so far very frustrating.
Sorry to hear about your concerns after the Over the Air update. We would recommend making sure the Bluetooth pairing is also deleted from your phone before trying to re-pair your device. If this doesn't help please PM our page with your VIN for further assistance.
I also am having issues. Downloaded and installed the OTA updated on my wife's '14 Limited GC. At first everything was fine, presets were still ok. Within about 5 mins, the system reset, the "SRT" startup screen popped up, all my presets were gone, and the volume no longer worked in any mode for audio. I've restarted the vehicle a couple times with the same SRT screen and audio now works, but has to get to volume level 15 before it is heard. Haven't had too much time to see if anything else is off but definitely frustrating. Unless of course the update reflashed my ECU and I truly have an SRT GC, then I can live with lower volume
Had the same issues with mine when it updated today.
I think that reboot goes back to how the prior usb updates worked.
You know the old open the door and close it for several minutes.
I think mine rebooted at least 2x. When it was all done I had to redo my presets on Sirus XM. I also had to add my smart phone back in for it to work.
It must have been a major update.
It took awhile for everything to come back. A couple times I almost panicked when the screen went blank for a while.
When I saw the SRT screen I wondered if I would now begin to get health reports under u-connect subscription.
Well at least now I can update the Navigation maps to the 2017 version.
I got mine about six months ago on my 2016 Cherokee and there were no problems, even got the "complete" message but the "Eyes Free" has never told me I had a text coming and read it to me - still rings in my pocket though.
I have received 2 or 3 emails stating the update will install on my 14 GC Overland soon. These were sent months ago and I still have not seen an update to date.
