Nothing like an argument on a forum..

Just take a pic of your fleet and problem solved.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I am solemnly pointing out the misuse of anonymity in this forum.

I do have a job, and every American taxpayer on this forum supplies me with my paycheck. The best part is, I'm currently relieved of my obligation to pay taxes (Operation Enduring Freedom).

Humility? No, not any time soon.

Thanks for proving my point further.

Hang on here folks.... Maybe I missed something but what exactly did REDBEAST do? Can someone explain that?

I see where someone asked him what finance rates were available and he answered, but why the credibility comments off the get go?

What is the history on this or do we need to get an admin to clean up this thread??

Not slamming you either jtdelisio, but I just don't understand the source of the attack??

Re: New trailhawk just went into production

It just agitated me that I was getting ripped off (I was only quoted 500 below retail, not including rebates) seeing guys saying on here that the dealers were quoting them below INVOICE. Exchange New Car Sales (Servicemember exclusive dealer) does price match so I did some research. A few MOPAR guys in my unit say there is no way that the new model is going to go for less than invoice, and I called a couple dealerships in NJ (where RED BEAST is from) and asked if they would go below invoice and they said they haven't heard such a thing.

SO, reading the posts trying to get price quotes and save myself a bit of money I asked to see a little proof. I got a few replies but all were just build quotes rather than agreements from the dealer that it is what they would pay. (and I posted my own to show comparison)

I work on the flight line and the jets go up for hours and hours on end, so I have a lot of downtime to spend on the internet, I see a trend that RED BEAST's stories don't match up. In boredom's sake I call his bluff, simple as that. It was all peculiar to me, and for some reason the dude/dudette felt threatened. I say shit twice and douche once and suddenly I'm using "vulgarities".

Ugh, some peoples kids.

Anywho, I apologize for my antagonistic manner, if you would like I can delete my posts in this thread. No need to contact Admin about it (come December I would like to share with you all my new Jeep experience as this is the best forum out there in my opinion).

OK well all plain there too see, there are people who are travelling a fair ways from their home to get such deals...

I think the only thing I had an issue with is the name calling, if you are going to call someone out on price then make it about price. I just can't stand the bickering when it appears there is no end point.

I hope that you can find a dealer that will help you. I suggest surfing the WK2 areas and find out where on the upper east coast people have found good luck... I know there are dealers who actively offer better pricing for individuals in the service past and present.

I'm not familiar with the ordering process for military sales, but in the regular dealer network, deals are made all the time at invoice or below invoice, with and without affiliate programs.

They are not being very truthful. Salesmen of course do not like "near invoice" deals as their commission rate is extremely low.

A dealership can, and they do, still make thousands selling at invoice cost. For starters they have the holdback to work with, which is 3% of [MSRP minus Destination]. On tight deals they can lowball trade-ins, make a little more off financing, sell extended warranties, not to mention a seemingly endless list of add-ons like paint/fabric protection, VIN etching etc.

The Trailhawk, as with any new vehicle launch, is going to initially be in tight supply until the pipelines fill up. Your chances of making a better deal will typically increase in the months following the launch.

Since I am not scheduled to pick up my vehicle until December, I hope someone who is getting these deals can upload/PM their final price quote signed from the dealer so I can get the price match. Otherwise since I'm out of country I think 500 below MSRP is the best I'm gonna get. Thanks a lot for all the intel.

Re: New trailhawk just went into production

Not sure whats going on here, but the "I have a million dollars in cars once I get my McLaren" sure made me LOL.

Whether or not its true, sure is funny reading a response from a guy who brags on the interwebs.

Maybe you should join instagram and post under "richkidsofinstagram".

That gives me hope. Mine was ordered just a few days after yours so it should be entering production soon.
