Just wondered if anyone has this issue when trying to get the update. It took me two computers and 4 different browsers to find one that it would work on, but I got the download.
It would not work on Pale Moon or Firefox or IE11 on my machine at home which is a WIN7 system. So I thought I would try at work with a XP machine we have. Would not work on Firefox or Chrome but it did work with IE8.
So I got through the whole process and the exe is on the USB stick, and when it gets about 39% through the extraction process it stops with an error saying teh system cannot find the file specified. I am going to do some more searching, but if someone has seen this and knows a fix I would be grateful if you enlighten me.
I haven't used IE in years so I know nothing about it's options. I saw a message when I opened the web site using IE8 on my XP machine about turning on compatibility mode if using IE11. I never saw that message when using IE11, however.
Do any of you ever have the issue of "Entered VIN is not valid. Please confirm." ?
I'm triple checked and the last 8 of my VIN is exactly what I'm entering into that website: https://rsur.extra.chrysler.com/rsur/Uconnect.do
Hmmm. Interesting. It's definitely not working. I tried a few different browsers just to make sure it wasn't something weird with the script they were using.
