Panoramic Sunroof

Anybody have a Cherokee with a panoramic sunroof? If so, thoughts so far? Worth the cost? Pictures/video?

I haven't got to see one in person yet.

Took the gf and a other couple to look at Christmas lights with it last night. Was great.

Everyone loves it. As far as being so big... From the drivers seat you can't really appreciate the size of it. But rear passengers love it.

Came as a standard option on my '14 Overland, but I never want another normal sized sunroof again! haha, just like the heated steering wheel. They may seem silly and overkill options at first, but you quickly get spoiled and never want another vehicle without them.

There are a significant number of reported issues around rattles and leaks in the pano sunroof, but that's what the warranty is for, and I have not experienced either of those in 16k miles.

Re: Panoramic Sunroof

I test drove a Cherokee with the dual sunroof. It seemed cool. Then I test drove one without and it seemed dark and just...wrong. Def go with the sunroof.

I have the dual panoramic sunroof on my new 2014 Cherokee Limited and absolutely love it. Passengers love it as well so yes it worth the extra cost.

We have the panoramic sunroof in our Trailhawk. It is really awesome, but it has one negative:

Any taller people sitting in the back seats will hit their head against the side of the roof (where the rails that retract the roof are) unless if they lean in towards the middle.

Is also nice for canyons, mountains, where out west there are several with significant view available only thru the sunroof.

Not worth much for meteor showers, too much ambient lighting if in motion.

Re: Panoramic Sunroof

Just returned home from FLA yesterday. Ours has been in the garage for a month since we had already left for FLA when it arrived. Took it out for the first time today. Had that sunroof uncovered (sure not open - it was about 10 deg F) and it was lovely. Really like it. My Flex had 3 panels but this one is even nicer.
