Question about build time

I am curious where everyone gets their info about the current build status of new vehicles.

I placed an order for a Trailhawk last week and just got a VIN from my dealer this morning, but I don't have any other details about it. Is there an official Jeep website where you can track the status?

Why yes there is

http://www.jeep.com/vots

You would need to ask your dealer to add you to this.

Secondarily, you can become a Level 3/4 member here and have one of the esteemed people track it for you down to the rail car level. There is a sticky at the top of the forum on how to do that.

Milous' tracking is much more accurate - updated twice daily!

Yeah Milous is real good at getting the info up. I hope his estimate on my delivery is accurate. This last weekend we gave my 01 Cherokee to my niece. So my wife and I are down to one car until my Trailhawk comes in...

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

Re: Question about build time

Waiting would not be bad , only if we had a sure date of delivery....
Nobody has a answer ... We are at the mercy of the transporter and they don't enough trucks from what I have been seeing.....

I agree. If they would allow us I would even be willing to go pick it up. That would be one hell of a road trip in a new car though (Toledo, OH --> Bay Area, CA).

According to VOTS my build should begin this week sometime, but I am hearing on various threads that they are behind production schedule.

Waiting for your Jeep is like waiting for your own death. You know it is going to happen, but nobody can tell you when. Hopefully, the former occurs before the latter. If it does, you win.

In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the things going on in your life. Or better still, download and read the owner's manual.

Re: Question about build time

Believe me it not for the car.. I am just tired of taking my wife to work and picking her up...... Love her to death but waking up at 5 am for the last two months sucks.... The day will come when I see milous so some movement .... Soon hopefully soon the later...
