recall - sun visor lamp wiring

Who else has gotten this recall notice?

When I had the ignition switch which fell into the dash fixed on mine, they pried off trim and damage the wood moldings, so I had to go back and have that repaired. It is enough to make me hesitate to allow them (Huntington Beach) to perform this recall work, especially if they assign the same ham-fisted "technician." The tiny little dealership in Irvine is also not appealing. Which one do you-all like for service in southern California?

Re: recall - sun visor lamp wiring

There are already a few threads on this in here. The majority of people who have posted on this recall have decided not to have it done. I'm one of those.

I know this point has been discussed (regarding the merits on having the visor looked at) but I think Steve here is asking for a service recommendation in SoCal. I live in Chicago or I'd offer some insight. I think there are dealer review websites out there too that might give you some feedback as well.

Good Luck in your search!

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the KL. Why is it still in the KL thread?

@Admin - Could you move this thread?

To all others...

These posts are confusing. They belong in the GRAND Cherokee section.

This is the (baby) Cherokee section.

Thanks.
