Rubbing noise when turning wheel

My wife has been complaining for awhile about a rubbing noise in the front end of her 2014 Cherokee when she turns the wheel. It would only happen first thing when the vehicle was cold. I had only heard it once, as I don't drive the vehicle very often. She had mentioned it to the dealer before when in for other issues but they always said can not duplicate. She made an appointment Monday along with Videos she made so they could hear it. Anyway they said they found it and it was the Strut bearing. I searched this forum and found nothing but in some other searches I found several folks that described the same thing. Those threads pointed to a TSB that says it just need lubricating.

Anyone else had this issue, did they come to the same conclusion and replace the strut bearing.

Hi CarlsDad,

It sounds like your dealership has diagnosed your concern but feel free to reach out if you are still experiencing the rubbing noise after repairs are completed!
