SRT Cherokee

Was over a buddies house today doing a quick cai install and we got on the topic of 1) how popular the Cherokees have become and 2) since we are both SRT guys, how cool a Cherokee version would be. Wanted to ping the owners to hear your thoughts.

Best of luck with them - they are pretty cool regardless.

3.5L twin turbo would be evil.

They better do something to beef up the tranny or it'll self destruct with higher horsepower and extra torque from a turbo. Probably no small task on a newly designed 9 speed transverse mount tranny.

Re: SRT Cherokee

The ZF 948TE in the KL is rated for 354 lb.ft., so there's a little wiggle room for an SRT model.

That's better than the 8 speed on the v6 Grand Cherokee, a much heavier vehicle!
