We didn't know anything about "stop & start" when ordering our new Jeep. Is this standard on all new 2016? And if so, can someone tell me more about it? I don't think I would like it... We are going from the 2.4-liter four-cylinder to the 3.2-liter V-6 in the new Jeep for better performance.
It looks like you can ONLY get a 2016 3.2L with the stop and start. I have never seen a window sticker with a 3.2L without it. I have heard that there is no way to have it disabled permanently, including no way to change the default in the settings. After each time you start the car, you can easily turn it off with the push of a physical button (no menus or anything).
