TPMS Sensors for European KL

A question to the Jeep insiders:

What type of TPMS sensor do I need for use in Europe? I know, that sensors from U.S. will not work, because they use a different transmitting frequency. In Europe, they have to work on 433 MHz.
I spent many hours with no result on the web to find out which sensor is the right one, but KL is nowhere listed yet.

The stupid thing is, that we have a new law in Germany that requires TPMS also when using winter tyres for new cars licensed first time after November 1st. My KL will be delivered end of November.:(

Anyone here who knows what to buy? Thanks.

I think you are looking at this situation wrong. In Europe they would like for you to operate on frequency 433 for tire sensors but I can not find anything saying they are blocking other frequencies. As the other guy from Switzerland told you his Mustang with stock sensors works just fine. In Europe they have the US frequencies assigned to other things. This is why you have to use a different cell phone in Europe. It isn't that Europe doesn't have the US cell phone frequencies or blocks them it is that they broadcast different things on them. You certainly are free to use the US frequency for tire sensors in Europe although it may be a little crowded with other traffic.
