How is this different then VOTS, what is the advantage
I've placed an order yesterday and i have the VON nr, is it to early to even locate the order in the system? (can i see the order details through the MOTS system? i am trying to confirm that the dealer ordered exactly what i specified)
Will this update automatically? or i have to PM the 2 moderators in order to get updates about my order?

updates are posted in the tracking forum 2-4 times daily. It is much more detail oriented than VOTS and tracks the vehicle till its delivered to the dealer.

I am not sure if this is the right place for this or not. I spent last weekend looking for a 2014 Trailhawk, and the only one that matched my criteria was way outside my market. So I placed an order with the dealer. Put my $1000 deposit down. It's now Tuesday and I have not gotten an update, Saturday is when I placed the order. When I called they told me they had no allocations at the dealer and they were checking daily to see when, and as soon as they got it I would get my order info. Is this normal? I sold my current car and now will be with out one starting the end of the week. We can get by on one car, but it would be nice to know when I can expect the new one. Is there something I should specifically ask the dealer? Should I escalate it at some point? It just seems odd that Jeep would not take an order with $$ on the table.

I am trying to track my Cherokee order. Have sent the order info to Scott and to Milous but haven't found reply yet. Starting to wonder if I'm doing this wrong. He is info again just in case.
Is there a way to become a level 3 or 4 member without using PayPal? I ordered my Cherokee Trailhawk on November 14th. I never heard anything back from the dealer, so I called them a few days ago and finally got my VON and the last 8 of my VIN. So far it just shows that production is scheduled in VOTS. I'd like to get more detailed tracking, but I don't use PayPal as I had a fraud incident with them a few years ago.
So 5 1/2 weeks after order and 4 weeks after D!, today my 2014 Cherokee is in PAINT! Dealer tells me to expect Dec. 20 delivery, pick up Dec.21 or 22. Progress at last!
I'm not thrilled with the MOTS tracking. It seems that after it's built, it only tracks your vehicle if it goes by rail. Mine left on a car carrier 6 days ago and haven't had one update since...it just says on a truck to dealer. It shouldn't take 6 days to get from Ohio to Maryland, even with a little snow. Since the MOTS system is silent on this, I am just left to guess. I wouldn't do it again.
I sent payment to Scott via snail mail 10 days ago for level 3 membership but haven't heard anything about delivery status. I'm not sure exactly where to look. Can someone in the know please help by explaining where the tracking info is posted. My VON is 30322073.
Just wondering, but I just checked MOTS and it says it was updated an hour ago, still has me in D1 status. Also just checked VOTS (Since I always look at both), and it now has me in Paint. Which one is correct? And how come MOTS is behind VOTS if VOTS is correct?
Just curious, but according to MOTS I got KZ status on the 28th, but it seems like it has just been sitting there since. Haven't seen any other movement in the shipping process. How long does it usually take to get on a train or car carrier? I really could use it soon since now Long Island is forecasted to get 8 inches of snow in the next 2 days. I was really hoping my original Estimated Delivery Date of 12/30 would have been close lol.

I finally read the top of the message where certain information was requested for the tracking. I know you don't "need" it because you are already tracking my Jeep for me but if you want the following information so others can compare timeline, I'm providing it to you:

4. Date order placed with dealer--1/20/14
