Ordered!

Since the first incarnation of the WK2 ive wanted a GC, was glad I waited til they came out with the reboot. Then wanted the Diesel. And I waited, and thought and waited and thought. Even had an order put together and priced. I had my card out to put the deposit down... but couldn't pull the trigger because I was gunshy about the price. Sure, I knew it was worth it. To get more car i'd have had to spend 80k on a Porsche or the like...

Then I saw the announcement of the KL.. The front end weirded me out a little. But I thought about it. thought about it being many years down the line from the original Cherokees and what I might have done differently and couldn't think of anything. Then I saw some more pictures. Then I saw one in real life. Then I watched the youtube videos. Then I built and priced. Then I called my salesman in Houston (many of you know him I think)... And today I ordered it. TRailhawk in Granite. Loaded.. Everything on it, and it came to 20k less than the GC I wanted.... now it's 6-8 looooong weeks before it arrives... But I cant wait.

To all of you that have your new chariots... Congratulations. Keep the reviews coming. To those of you waiting on your order... i'm happy to be in the same boat. Keep the Dream alive!!!!

Can you post some pictures of your granite in real world lighting? Also, I'm wondering what the TH will look like without the hood decal. I should be picking up my whip at the beginning of next month. Anyone want to review the hawk from a civilian perspective rather than a journalist perspective?

i did go spot a nice urban off-road trail here in houston that i happened across on accident one day looking for a place to drop my Kayak in the bayou. I'll let yall know what it looks like when i get mine.

or... OR... I'm gonna take my patriot in for service next week. Convince them to give me a TH as a loaner for the day... and i'l take THEIR TH to this trail....

Herb,

PM me the location of the urban trail if you will. I'm looking for a local place to take my 2014 CRD GC to try out the offload basics

Thanks,
Jerry

The Granite Trailhawk is very nice, especially with the Brown interior. We were going to order one, but the exact model arrived at a dealership when we were test driving. We knew it was coming based on their website.

The LaneSense feature freaked us out 'cause we hadn't read the manual yet and didn't know the car would steer itself! We haven't tried the parallel or perpendicular parking yet!!

What's the expected delivery date? I ordered mine about 10 days ago and Jeep told me it will be ready "St. Patrick's Day". HOLY SHIITE is correct!! I must have missed a meeting or something.
