Transmission jolt

I remember there were a couple people including my self that said their 14 cherokees were having hard shifts. I was told not to complain until i hit 1k miles. At 1400 now and still jolting. Still only in gears 1-4 at lower speeds. Both up shift and down shift. Did anyones elses correct themselves?

Re: Transmission jolt

If I were you, I'd have the dealer look at that, especially since you now have about 1400 miles on it. I only have about 300 miles on mine and no jolts. There was a TSB dated 11/14/13 regarding "Transmission Shift Enhancements" TSB 21-013-13 for the 2014 KL Cherokee. Hope this helps you out.

I am at 1100 and still have some jolts in the lower gears but the last 100 or so miles it seems to be smoothing out a little. I have to go into the dealer to replace my UConnect in a week, if it doesn't smooth out by then I will have them check it out.

What happened to your Uconnect?

Within a 1/2 hour from leaving the dealership the screen dimmed to where it couldn't be read, but it still worked. We thought it was something we did/hit, but it has been dimming intermittently since. I took it in and the dealer said there is an issue with the UConnect in our Jeep, doesn't need a flash update - it needs a whole new UConnect.

They have ordered one and we are just waiting for it to arrive so they can fix it.
