I eventually was able to install HIDs that are working great so far.
Long story short, has anyone else come across the headlights being rejected by the system? I also noticed that after the update, all of the music on my USB drive sorts A-Z on song title instead of track title. I contacted Jeep about it and they confirmed that this was part of the update.
Is there any way to go back to a previous version of uConnect? I've read that it will brick your system if you attempt it.
If you saved the old version put it on a usb and do a typical update. When you get to the screen that asks "Do you want to update this to that" your current version will be the 'this' and the old version will be the 'that'. Say yes. It will go through the process as usual and you will be back to the old version.
My dealer did it to me a couple of times by accident because I had a newer version than they had. That was when they had to depend on CDs.
