Tried to get a response on this over at another forum but there hasn't been any responses so I thought I would swing by here and ask.

On my UConnect system, roughly 2 or 3 days ago the voice command suddenly stopped working. The command "play song....xxx" results in a response of "cancelled" even though I didn't cancel it. Of the other commands I've tested over the last day or so, this seems to be the only one I've found that isn't working. What gives? Is there a soft reset that won't cost my settings but might "slap" the UConnect system and wake it up?

Two methods reported in the Cherokee forums:

1) Remove negative battery terminal for about 5 minutes
2) Push and hold volume and tune buttons (the 2 big buttons below the screen) at same time

Don't know what the ramifications of either would be but the former is something that happens when changing out the battery so would expect it to be least risky.

Pushing Volume and Tune resets the radio but doesn't destroy any data. I had to use it once on my trip to Oregon when I suddenly lost the memory in the seats and mirrors. After the reset, everything went back to normal.
