Vibration in steering wheel

HI I HAVE A 2014 CHEROKEE LIMITED. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAVE INCURRED AVIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND GAS PEDAL THAT COMES AND GOES AT A CERTAIN SPEED. THE DEALER STATES THIS IN NORMAL FOR THE VEHICLE. I THINK IT IS A DEFECT IN THEIR NEW TRANSMISSION. HOWEVER CHRYSLER REFUSES TO AKNOLEDGE MY PROBLEM.

Re: Vibration in steering wheel

Wobble ?? From 2nd to 3rd gear ? Got that too and a lot of others - not normal ! I think it is a problem - I have a factory order build on the 1st of April 2015 I was hoping they fixed this issue but they didn't. I have this issue NOT all the time when I start driving out of stop with normal acceleration speed - if I kick the paddle it seems to skip this wobble but that's not really the way I drive with this car. I love my Jeep but this issue is annoying. I read so much the last 3 days about it - people had their car for weeks a t the dealer and it was still not fixed. I don't have time for that crap. It is annoying from time to time but Chrysler has to come up with a real solution on this - I also read that people with the new renegade experience the same issue also that the downshift is not working right and the car tend to go forward when you put your foot from the dad paddle. - I shouldn't trust an American car brand :-) now it's Italy involved that made it worse ...

Re: Vibration in steering wheel

Hi thanks for getting back I have the same problem, I wanted to take them to arbitration but the results would be cash for your car based on their book value or a vehicle comparable to what you have. This is a lose situation. I agree they should fix it. I am sure it is the transmission not alignment or balance. They don't want to admit to the transmission problem which would mean substantial cost to them. I hope to keep it for a while then go back to Toyota. It is a shame that they just don't want to step up and fixit.

Re: Vibration in steering wheel

Had that issue and it's drive shafts that need to be replaced...
Have done it 10 days ago and also replaced the tires that had only 5% left after 27,000km!!!!!!!!!!
Then 10 days after service........ "transmission service" warning!!!!!!!!! it's like a nightmare again, after picking up the new car 1.5 years ago, 2 days after i had new transmission put it.... not again!!!!!!!!

Re: Vibration in steering wheel

Had the axles replace too. That helped fix the wobble. As for the tranny - total crap.
