This is more a personal preference thing than anything else. Personally, I don't like the look of floor liners. Floor liners remind me of how cars used to be built in the 1950s with a thin rubber floor covering instead of today's carpet. My salesman, as a gift for purchasing my Jeep, had my Jeep treated inside and out with sealant. Anything that gets on my upholstery or carpet comes right out or off anyway. I prefer the look of the Mopar Slush Mats. Mine is an unusual situation though. I am retired and single so I can control how my Jeep is treated. Being a perfectionist and a bit OCD I am careful about what I drag into my Jeep. I would say 95% of the time I am the only one in my Jeep.

I have the Mopar cargo area mat that folds up and fits in the case that attaches to the cargo management bar. I keep my back seat folded down 99% of the time. I love having my Jeep look and function like an El Camino or Ranchero. The Mopar mat is one of the few that extends over and protect the back seat when it is folded down. I also have the Mopar cooler that attaches to that same cargo management bar as well as the first aid kit that does also. Across from that in the hatch I have the Mopar 4 square storage thing. That is perfect for putting things in that you do not want to slide around like groceries. I keep a trash bag in my Jeep to put over the front passenger seat back when I have it folded flat.

Re: Weathertech Liners or Mats

I have the weather tech front floor mats for and the second row mat for my 2011 Dodge Durango. I highly recommend them if you have snowy winters. Being a South Texas native, I can tell you these have saved my interior from the harsh Colorado winters these past two years. Not only that, but I work in the oilfield and this vehicle is my daily driver. I've gotten high pressure grease on them as well and they wash off entirely with a high pressure rinse at the car wash.

They are also laser measured so they are an exact fit. Two years old, and they still look brand new. By the way, I'm OCD about keeping my interior perfect and I can tell you these do the job perfectly!

I have the same Mopar cargo mat and it works just as macfan has described. Groceries don't budge on this mat, and I'm an aggressive driver.

That translates to being waxed and interior sprayed down with a $8 can of Scotchguard.

Mopar mats work great. WeatherTech digital floor mats shrink over time and end up sliding around.
I had a set get stuck over my brake pedal after an sudden hard brake situation. I'll never buy or recommend them to anyone.

Won't argue what the sealant consists of. I don't know and I don't care as it was free. My point was that what ever it consists of dirt will release easily from the carpet. My detail gal had no trouble getting salt stains out of my carpet around the dead pedal this past spring from last winter. We do agree that Mopar slush mats are great.

Weathertech Liners or Mats

I have the weathertechs and they are awesome. They clean very easily, cover perfectly. I even prefer them day to day over the Llyods mats I have. I have the rear mopar cargo mat and am very happy with that as well, but they don't compare to the weathertechs.

I have them in the 2014 Limited and they fit perfectly and look nice. While we still have to see how they function in snow, I would highly recommend them.

Re: Weathertech Liners or Mats

I'm planning on getting the WeatherTech liners - They're made locally here in Chicago, so I try to support local businesses.
