The new 200 had similar "ugly" mules running all over SE MI for a year and the "near production" form looks nothing like those.
^ This.

People, don't panic.

Looks like a rumored Fiat based Jeep.
Wonder what they'll call it? "Jiat" sounds silly.
"Feep" sounds like they should put a special horn on it like they did for the old Roadrunner.

Wonder how many chipmunkpower it has?

I'd rather see pictures of the GC based Maserati myself....

Luckily I live where every now and then I get to see mule or thinly disguised Audi up along Peak to Peak.

Mules are not Horses

Attached is the "Liberty" mule that we all know as the Cherokee now.

Guess how different the little Jeep will be.

Lot of skitish people on this forum. Anytime you find yourself over reacting to a picture of a mule you know you've been staring at the screen too long.

That wasn't the early mule

Zing... I missed point. If you google or bing or go to Allpar and look at pictures of the mules ... that is one of them.

I was told the earliest mules for that weren't even let out of the pilot plant. Hacked up KKs, and Darts. That was after most of the plans were finalized.

Re: Where do I post this abomination! (?)

Yep. No doubt there is a lot metal we never will see. I saw an interview with the designers and they said there were several Cherokee versions... mild to wild and management chose wild. We may never see the alternate designs. I think early ALLPAR illustrations may have been drawn from information leaked about those other versions.
My point for posting the picture was to illustrate that the Fiat cars they are using for mules are not an indicator of what the Jeeps will end up looking like. The FIAT SUV mules for the Cherokee were a case in point.
