I haven't heard of GDE offering credits, but I can say that adding or removing the tune requires a bench flash (i.e. you have to physically send the ECM to GDE or do an ECM exchange with them). There is no ETA on a flash tool for the GDE tune for 2014+ EcoDiesels.

Might not be now, but I would expect it 6-12 months. If the motor were not in the Ram truck, it might be a while but since it is in the Ram, it won't be long. I used to do that for a living for one of the large chip makers so I make that statement with confidence.
