I'll see what I can find out, it's not the easiest info to come by. I was told recently that initially for North America, CRD would be around 10% of total Grand Cherokee production. I'm sure that number will vary somewhat in the months ahead.

It means you are the luckiest forum member. The rest of us have to try to maintain our sanity till we know ours is placed on the schedule for production. Congrats on being first

You must be talking about stews, they're stuck on the 1%, go to granger and you should at least be able to get 2% under. Good luck

I did order late in the day and mine went to D1 status!!! I am also sure an Overland was ordered from the same dealer earlier in the day that did not get to D1. So Order time/date is definitely not the only criteria.

Holy smokes! Jeep is on the move. I step away from the forum for a few hours and....bam! D1 status and delivery in 30 days!!!

Correct theory or not...I'll take it!!!

Thank you Milous for your efforts.

Re: 2014 diesel production

I guess Jeep doesn't like me. One of the only first day orders not scheduled. I wonder if the color (cashmere pearl) or the fact that it is 2wd is a factor. Ordered as part of the DC group buy so I assume that allotment isn't the problem.

Trust me nothing effects it that you could possibly imagine... 4x2 one day could move it up that next day count against it. It is not a predictable system. The only the predictable thing is if the dealer doesn't receive allotment it won't get scheduled. That is one question only your dealer and his/her rep knows.

Re: 2014 diesel production

4x2 because my wife never goes off road and there is no snow here in Florida. Wants maximum fuel mileage and be able for me to tow my trailer when she lets me. Tom at Koons thinks 4x2 may have something to do with it but I think he is just guessing.

Give it a few more days before being concerned. If you are still worried ask your dealer to find out about their allotment anf if the 4x2 is affecting priority.
