I am not even sure one can view the Stickers of Sold Orders. If you can, I assume it could be viewed as soon as the vehicle status changes to "KZ".

Well let me sum it up, one last time;

The point I'm making, and have attempted to make since I've been here, is that the tracking does not typically reflect real world situations, and just because vehicles don't always change status' to reflect where they literally are, doesn't mean they're idled in a previous state... Like seriously, who here really thinks Shannon's car was in paint for over a week? That's just ridiculous. And not factual. Edit: (Which I also have wasted my time explaining.)

It's not Milous' fault, bc he can only update with what's available to him, but what I'm saying is sometimes I find you guys accepting a 'status update' (or lack there of) as a representation of reality, then complaining abt it, when that isn't even reality! Shannon's car wasn't in inspection/repair last I SAW. Period.
Not heard, read, assumed, postulated, etc., but SAW. With my own eyes. It just wasn't there! And cars only go outside and come back in (for repairs) when things are backed up in repair. So it's safe for ME to assume that when it left inspection, it went out to AWAIT shipping availability and plant release, bc repair is not currently backed up.

So - when I ask why Shannon is assuming its still in inspection, I really do want to know why. Maybe you guys have info other than the status that I'm unaware of? But if not, and it's just bc the status, I've already told you guys what happens with the updates and tracking. And it's just strange that ppl still don't get it... It's like your kid touching a hot iron, yelling "ouch," then after you tell them why they shouldn't touch the iron, they say "ok" and immediately go touch the iron again. AND yell "ouch"... Again.

Pretty much sums it up in my case.

OUCH!

Seriously, we have nothing better to do but obsess until it arrives. I'm a mid 40's family guy and getting a nice shiny new SUV with all the cool 4WD and tech stuff is one of the few indulgences I allow myself. The rest of the time, I'm a paycheck for the family, college tuition provider, and human ATM machine...

Hey Chevy,

I was trying to come up with a smartass scenario to try and get you going but just don't have the heart.
My only question is would your response have been different if the Motor City Kitties didn't get beat by the Indians today 4-0?

By the way, I'm enjoying a "Dirty Blonde Ale" from Detroit's own A****er brew!
Quite tasty!

Lol @ Motor City Kitties... And no, I'm ok with Cleveland getting one. It was a good game. And they're still a legitimate contender. (*cough* For a wild card ).. Besides, I have to drive back through Ohio tonight when I leave VA, and if we swept em (again) I wouldn't want any angry Tribe fans letting air out of my tires on the turnpike when I stop for coffee, and they see Michigan plates and an old-English D on the back of my truck.

And I almost forgot I owe you a case of Atw@ter brews.. You keep delaying your order for the next best thing though. You sure you're gonna pull the trigger on the TH2, or you still eying that Kia?

This is very good:

Employees didn't get credit for the job being done if it wasn't scanned "DONE!".
Also during the process, each piece of automated equipment posted events to order tracking.
I was but one person who wrote, implemented, trained the employees to use, and maintained the software.
So, I really have a hard time understanding why tracking can't always be correct.

Regardless, I didn't notice there was an update to Shannon's new Truck on MOTS.

"In Bay At Facility 09/01/2013 06:42 AM EDT Detroit Jefferson Assembly, MI"

It looks like this location posting always occurred shortly before Plant Release(KZ) or Shortly After Plant release (KZ). I don't know when Milous added this; also the status still says "I".

Still waiting to see about the TH2. I've waited this long for the diesel so I might as well wait a little longer.

Those Kias aren't too bad but if I'm going to get something new I'm going to go all-out (at least as far as my budget will allow me). I still need my bike and beer money.

Damit Chevy, you just made me touch a hot iron twice. Going back to see if it has cooled down. Nope, still hot
You mean my Jeep won't have 1437 coats of paint??? Maybe it left inspection to get a few more coats of paint.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Ouch, I touched the dang iron again.... still hot
Seriously Chevy, all I have for tracking is VOTS (which I know is about as accurate as a broken clock) and MOTS, which will give me the best info on tracking once it is shipped. I am joking about being in paint and inspection for so long. I totally trust what you are telling me. If you were not there to tell me what you are actually seeing, I would have to just obsess over VOTS until it is released, then follow MOTS. Still confused why Marlon says it's there when you didn't see it; However, I can say Yeeeee Haaaaaa!!! MOTS says it is in a Bay - However, I don't have a clue what this means, but by looking at the history for other buyers, looks like it may make it out of the plant in the next few days.
Again, I want to thank you for your hard work.
Shannon

pfs.

I don't have to look for it... computer tells all.

In bay at facility is a good thing. That means that "Inspection" is truly finally happening. Shipping is close.
