Interesting. I have been in D1 status since 8/29. Hopefully it will move soon into build. Congrats to the new 10 owners moving forward. I wonder why the Overlands are taking more time than Summit's? I placed the order with the dealership on 8/9 but they waited until 8/10 to submit it.

I hit D1 on the 23rd and haven't moved since. Someone earlier in the thread hit D1 almost a week before I did and just got to paint today.

I was really hoping that since I'm in what I thought would be a "target market" (CA) and ordered on the first day, even before most dealerships were even open, that I might be among some of the first to start moving. But still sitting at pre-release.

I was also hoping that since I scheduled a trip out of town at the end of september, that would mean my JGC would show up during that time. But alas, I doubt that's going to happen now.

Unfortunately that means that I'm likely not going to have a vehicle, other than my motorcycle, that I can drive for a while because my Explorer's registration expires at the end of september and it's due for smog. It's not even really safe to drive it any more, so there's no way I'm going to try and take it in for smog.

Sigh ... the waiting continues. Though hopefully, based on what Willx has been saying, it may move to D1 in the next week or so, which probably means about mid october delivery (?)

I've been in D1 since 8/17.... I was hoping to see it move to build this week, but this week is almost over. Can a web page get worn out from checking it too much?? :-)

Yeah, I've been saying the same thing ever since I saw that it was mostly the Limiteds that were moving through the system. And I was originally planning on getting a "loaded limited" instead of the Overland because I didn't think the few minor differences between the two were worth the extra cost (and I keep cars until the wheels fall off (literally!) so resale value doesn't mean anything to me). But ... the better half really liked those few differences between the loaded limited and Overland, so eventually chose the Overland.

Now as it turns out, I'm not quite as upset as I was when I saw the Limiteds moving, because this past weekend I finally got my garage to the point where I'll be able to get the Jeep in (so that it doesn't suffer at the hands of the rust gods the way my Explorer did) and it turns out those power folding mirrors will fully justify the cost difference as well as the delayed delivery.

Oh well ... here's to hoping that I get on the schedule soon; that seat frames are plentiful; the workers that work on mine are well rested, happy and raring to get my truck built so that it breezes through inspection; and that delivery goes smoothly.
