My educated guess without any other changes in parts availability and or production issues your build will very likely start late next week.

Before everyone on the forum asks me about this for their vehicle I will say this... I CAN NOT tell this all of the time so if someone asks and I don't answer it is because I don't know and or I may need more information from you... I am not the most interesting man in the world

I just did a quick count and 11 Overland CRDs are >= D1 and 15 are < D1 (including mine - so sad ... ). Now admittedly I did the count very quickly, but I doubt I'm off by more than about 2 which would still say the majority have not hit D1 yet.
Sorry One Short of a Majority.... Exactly 12 of the original 24 are D1.

Ah, yeah - I was counting all overland CRDs, not the 8/9 ones. But yeah, still 1 short.

I know that nobody really knows how things are scheduled, but any wild speculations as to why I haven't hit D1 yet? Seems like the Bay Area would be one of the target markets, and I think Milous at one point said he expected CA in general to be considered one of the top targets. I ordered as soon as was possible on 8/9 and from a dealer that does a fairly high volume (from what I can tell) of JGCs.

Maybe it's because I don't post enough?

I'm sure I am supposed to know this, do not have my order sheet handy. Is RA4 the Access w/NAV? If so, I am included in this forgotten group as well.

We are the forgotten and forlorned.

Actually the Overland thing is not a dealer allotment problem... that is a product mix issue. Even I was surprised at the amount over Overland vs others. (Hence my "majority" comment... there are more than I thought).

No ones fault but Overland was more popular and the overall build mix for total vehicles shipped is likely saturated on Overland (not just to do with Diesel). That is a guess based on past experience.

I'm not even "D1" yet; but, my thinking has been: the soonest I would expect to see any movement would be no sooner than 2 weeks before estimated delivery. And, with the several day parts delay, that would put it in line with what Willx said, "late next week".

When I go to "D1" I will feel I will get a break from checking MOTS, VOTS and my "Magic 8 Ball" for a couple weeks.

Mine is 4WD Limited - Max Steel, Lux2, ORA2, RA4, CD, Block Heater. I'm in Paint as of this a.m. I don't think its your options.

I did order within 1 minute of order books opening on 8/9. My VON was among the lowest I've seen posted here for 8/9.

The shocker for me: My dealer had 0 allocation. Mine is strictly a "sold" order. I guess I got lucky.

Yes, RA4 is the 8.4 with Navigation. RA3 is without NAV (someone please correct me if I am wrong
