I won't be able to judge your antics tomorrow, bc I'll be in the plant already before you even get out of bed. But be careful bc since DPD got new rides they've been anxious to stomp on em and write tickets. Seen em hiding on Connor the other day on the way in.. But as for your Jeep, man those Duratracs are some loud SOBs! I started to go with a M/T tire myself (TrailGrapplers) but mud tires actually suck in snow, so I went with upsized Terra's.

I have some 305/55/20 Trail Grapplers on my truck and I can completely second all of that.

Can't hear myself think, had them on late into last year and had to drive home through slush on the road....they almost put me into the ditch 15-20 times. One of the scariest 45 minute drives ever.

They do look awesome though.

Chevy, Terra's are great tires. I'm on my 4th set of 325/65-18's. Pretty quiet on the road. I may try some on my GC...or the Nitto 420S. All Weather Street or A/T. Hmmm....

Don't count on the e-mails. I only got the first one, and my vehicle is built.

I believe his sigh is because he already answered why the delay in shipping a couple days back. QC and build up prior to all new releases. Plus we were told back in June by Scott it would be an August order but an October delivery which seems to be true as well.

Re: 2014 diesel production

My guess is they will start releasing them in about a week. Two weeks will be a month from when Shannon's was built.

So, if they hold them up for timing reasons, it can't be for very long.

I didn't notice any post that explained the reason why they are not shipping except it takes a month. That's not an answer. Maybe I missed a post where you explained the reasons. If so just respond with a link to the answer. Instead of "*sigh* I give up.." Otherwise, I will keep guessing.

He has said previously before that with new releases, it takes about a month after the build before release for QC issues, and marketing.

Yes, I remember reading that now. I guess I wasn't satisfied with that generic answer. If they knew this in advance then why didn't they adjust the estimated delivery dates? If the plan all along was to delay the delivery then they could have put dates that corresponded. I guess the orders on the 15th of January weren't considered a new release even with two brand new transmissions and all the other cosmetic changes. They mostly seemed to go from Built to plant release in a day or two. Some did sit in inspection for a long time but not most. All the CRD's built on MOTS have not gone to KZ. The three earliest deliveries on MOTS in February went from Built to KZ in 1 or 3 days. No QC issue or volume build up there.

I am not concerned by the delays in shipping built vehicles; I am just curious. Just as we were all curious of all the delays that took us to the 8/9 order date.
People said the delay was the EPA; I still don't know for sure and will never know.

Until they ship we are going to continue to wonder why they haven't.
