You got upset with me saying "We will never know the reasons" you got upset with me saying I think Shannon's vehicle will ship soon because it's been sitting for 16 days.

I appreciate the information you have given. but, if you don't want us to talk about it, that's not going to happen.

I do not appreciate this response to an innocent post:
Well I apologize to you sir.. Your post read different than what you intended I guess. But idk what else to tell you that would be sufficent for you. And I've already told you more than ANYBODY in a formal position would be willing to tell you. And they don't know much anyway. I'm sure you know this already from the CS line.

But like I said, those who've been around here for a day or 2 (like you), know that if there was a fire, I'd yell "FIRE!" Or I'd imply that there's a fire. "Anybody see smoke?" But that's not the case. Which is why I misinterpreted your post I guess. You should know 'ol Chevy by now. There are other cars that have sat longer than Shannon's was my point, and if you had those VINs and build dates, then by the time the first CRDs shipped, it would be abt a month from the actual start of production. My "it takes a month" approximation has NOTHING to do with JG cars. I'm going by the start of production in a launch. Sometimes a few JG cars make it into that bunch. Here recently that hasn't been the case. I'm not sure if the earliest builds have begun shipping yet, although I HAVE seen a few on car haulers, but I can tell you it's coming up on a month from the (actual) start of production. Which from my perspective means that barring any late QC issue that causes cars to be re-checked for said issue, these cars (including JG cars) will probably start moving by this time next week. If not sooner.

To add to Chevy's comment... None of the JG Member rides have needed to be pulled back in or sent to the "other" places at this point. So far so good.

My intent was never to say there was a problem, only that we don't know or understand.

And, your intent to say there is no problem is clear, and we believe you! That doesn't mean we don't want our new Jeeps yesterday.

I used to work on systems that when down the entire plant stopped working; people would literally be standing around me waiting for me to finish, this would make me sweat. They also could never understand why the system had to be down for so long. So, I understand your pain.

No one here wants to blame anyone at JNAP for not getting their Jeep, we think you guys are doing a great job! That doesn't mean we don't have a desire to understand what is going on; all of the information we have comes from here.

That actually has happened here! A couple years back. We came in and the line wasnt running, and naturally we assumed something was broke somewhere, but bc each line runs independant of the others, it didnt make sense for everything to be idled. What happened was somehow the robots lost communication with each other (or some technical crap) and NOTHING would run. It was crazy. We lost at least a full day of production. They had to call in the company who designed all this stuff to scratch their heads for a few hours then ultimately figure it out. Skilled trades was useless. I felt bad for em. They were all scrambling trying to figure out sumn that was obviously above their training.

Mine was sent from the paint room to the drag strip, back to the paint room, then to the Indy track, back to the paint room, then to the Utah salt flats, back to the paint room, then attached to a space shuttle....who knows what is next (I am assuming back to the paint room)

Right, excluding yours which seems to have very little info about where it really is during the days

You are hilarious. Maybe yours went to TX under an alias. I'm going to look for it next weekend, just in case.

I hear its being put on a C130 and flown to Syria as a peace offering if Assad agrees to leave power without a fight.. They'll go over all the features with him and if he takes it, then Voila, no war.. If he turns it down and says, "maybe if it was a Summit" then the drama continues.. But at least it'll go KZ then.

I must have missed this post.. Anyway, yeah they do look good. Nice truck.. And thx for the anecdote. I always admire other guys trucks with MTs but here in MI I'd be in situations like you described everyday in the winter.

Yeah, I like em so far.. Got em a couple months ago and they're really nice looking when cleaned and shined up.

I actually bought em to replace my stock size Toyo Open Country ATs (275/60R20s). They still had decent tread left, but I got a nail in the right rear sidewall and it's against my religion to buy one tire at a time, so I just bought a new set. I know Toyo owns Nitto so I figured I'd try them out and compare. Plus I wanted LTs (the Toyo's were P tires), and I wanted to fill the wheel wells a bit after I leveled it. So I went with LT275/65R20s in the Terras. The ride is a little stiffer, and the speedo is off a lil, but they're just as quiet as the Toyo's.

I know some will wonder wtf this has to do with diesel Jeeps, and so I'll shut up now.. Traffic in this thread is just a lil shy today. And some of you guys may actually be interested in upgrading the shoes on your Jeep to maximize it's potential. So there ya go.
