Good entertainment anyway. I wish my brokerage used that kind of math...

In the engineering world we call it "successive approximations"....keep guessing based on known data until the predicted outcome equals reality.

Sounds better than guessing, huh?

EDIT ADDITIONS: Also, remember to read the entire section in the owners manual about recreational towing. Since you will have Quadra-lift, you need to start your engine periodically, while towing, to bring the ride height back to normal. Once you start the vehicle you just have to wait until the lights stop blinking for regular ride height, then turn it off. Shouldn't be more than a few seconds. edit: (You might even be able to do this from inside the motorhome maybe even while moving with the autostart, that would be cool.) (Nothing like the Fords where you are supposed to run them for 5 minutes to lubricate and cool the transmission.)

One more thing you should know, the early editions of the Owners Manual were completely wrong as far as the instructions to put the transfer case into neutral. Look at the Edition of your manual, it should be on the back page. The current Edition online is the "Fourth Edition". Here is a link: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee OWNER’S MANUAL

I believe there are still things wrong about the instructions; I have been told the messages displayed regarding going into (transfer case) neutral is one.

One last thing, the coolest thing about the 2014 JGC is there is no steering wheel lock, so no need to leave a key in the vehicle...

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about the M&G brake module but they don't offer one for the newer JGC so the AF1 is the only other permanently installed unit that I'd consider.

Remind me not to invest with you if you don't think 12000 x 500 is 6 million.

Find an installer that has a lot of experience with JGC WK2's.

My installer, (Camping Connection of Kissimmee, FL), has done many JGC WK2 Dinghy installations, baseplate, wiring, lights and brakes. They work closely with the manufacturers. I have never done business with an RV repair center that cared so much about doing a good job. I go out of my way to bring my motorhome to them for work. They are 75 miles from my home.

I could be wrong but I think Chevy confirmed that JNAP has approximately 12,000 JGC's on order, not shipped. Granted they aren't all built and ready to ship before the 9/16 discount deadline....but a significant amount might have been built.

I doubt sales and marketing intended to offer those with existing orders a discount. The promotion is probably there to help move existing dealer inventory to "clear the way" for the CRD's.

Marlon confirmed 12000 placed orders. Not a guess, but confirmation.
