Cool video here. Something to feed the obsession. I would never do this with my new ride. An old wrangler would be what I'd take here. It looks to me like the GC wheels spin more than the Pathfinder and the stiff frame of the GC has it on three wheels occasionally. Must not have the ELSD.

We're not building diesels in succession. Most of the daily build is still gas WKs. Second is still WDs. The CRDs cut into the speed processing the other orders, but don't halt them being filled altogether.

Yes, great video; haven't figured out if it's the CRD though.

I like the rock guards, I'm getting after market ones myself... Definitely in the "Do not try this at home" category.

I didn't hear an diesel cackle. Despite the reviews, videos reveal a distinct diesel cackle at idle...not loud but over a rock bed, it would have been audible.

Also, that GC was a Quadra-Trac, wasn't it? It had standard ride height and could have benefited from a lift.

It also appears the GC doesn't have the suspension travel and articulation of the Pathfinder. The body may flex on the PF but NOT 6 inches. The side glass would shatter with that much twist!

15% of North American Limited, Overland and Summit production is currently earmarked for the CRD...

That is a fairly remarkable statistic. Hopefully with the influx of European diesels and the new American ones (Cruze, JGC - again, and the Ram 1500) ULSD will become more of a worthy investment for producers and the price will drop down as it is more available.

Plus it will help the car manufacturers with their CAFE MPG requirements
