Re: 2014 diesel production

Good news and bad news:

Good: Jeep.com now lists the Ectodiesel option for Limited and above
Bad: "The total price of this vehicle will increase by $7,500." (Limited, $6195 for Overland)

"Luxury Group II" is a mandatory option on Limited, "Advanced Technolog Groupy" on Overland.

I have seen mfrs do this before.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Already expected that... since I want the LUX2 package anyway that is no big deal for me.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Yeah that's been known for a while. The Lux2 package is actually $1,000 cheaper with the Limited/diesel because of the forced bundle.

It's good they at least let you build it with diesel online now.

You have been able to build and price the diesel online since March... FWIW

I was hoping that was a good sign for ordering in April .... then May ... then ...

Re: 2014 diesel production

I may be out as well. Just found out I need to have some work done on my '07 Tahoe and it can't be put off any longer. I now need to weigh whether I fix it and run it until the diesel comes out or don't fix it and either get the V8 or something else.

Re: 2014 diesel production

I don't see any difference in the online "build and price" tool. This is the same as it has been for months.

Saw a $1500 rebate on a V8 on Jeep's website.

Re: 2014 diesel production

The diesel is not mentioned in the June dealer flyer, which means that it's unlikely banks will open tomorrow.

So does that mean it's unlikely to open any time in June or is the 26th that someone else mentioned a possibility?

Maybe Chevy was just trying to get a rise out of us?
Wait... What'd I miss?
