Re: 2014 diesel production

I got an email from Jeep this morning saying that my Jeep was being built and VOTS shows it in paint. However, my status on MOTS hasn't changed. From what I read here I really expected it to be the other way around (MOTS before VOTS). Is this normal?

Jim

Mine is the same. My understanding is that during the build process the information is sorely lacking, but at the end, once it is built pending inspection, from there on out, MOTS is to be trusted.

Apply to the government for a grant for that. They have already pooled our money to fund pleasure excursions. (I know that sounds like right wing sarcasm, although, I'm really a liberal.)

Re: 2014 diesel production

I am not one who knows anything, but, the KZ's are very close I feel. I am leaving this computer until the 7th. I will be monitoring MOTS and VOTS from my phone. Good Luck!

  • XJMS - Capless Fuel Filler [Surprised to see this on a Diesel, is an adapter available for the truck stops, (one was available for the VW TDI)]
  • 166S - Zone 66-Orlando [I live north of Tampa and I know trains get unloaded there, I also know Trains get unloaded in Orlando, I would have thought my zone would have been Tampa, maybe there is no "Tampa Zone"]
  • XZZS - Mid Model Year Vehicle Tracking [What is this?]
  • YGLA - 6 Additional Gallons of Diesel Fuel [I remember this being discussed but I can't remember why it says "Additional". (It is under Optional Eq.) ]
  • 4HC - Special Scheduling Condition III [What does this mean? I think someone mentioned it before.]

Thank you in advance for anyone that has anything to say.
How did you get your build sheet or was this someone else's? I PM'd Milous but assumed he wasn't providing them until they shipped?

They are available I think the next business day after Built. Also, I started out at the Lifetime Level. If you Upgraded from a level lower, you must remind him. Milous should get to it soon if you PM'd him. I don't know his schedule. Since mine was built yesterday, my Build sheet was available today. Those built today might not be available until Monday....

EDIT: I just looked at MOTS. You should PM him again. He probably just missed it. He is a very busy person...

I completely forgot about it until it showed up. Then of course, I got dizzy reading it.

If there are slight delays in the MOTS updates, it is likely the shear volume of stuff to sort through.

Sadly, you are correct. Sarcasm isn't needed when speaking the truth.

I just wanted to make sure everyone knows the little updates I post in the mornings is easy stuff.... Milous keeps a much more meticulous file than myself and it takes time and effort to post the detail in the updates.

It is a lot of work being the most interesting man in the world (that statement with only the sarcasm of the character not the reputation or the workload)

Whether or not he'll admit to it, I just assume Milous is either paid to do it, or has people helping him. There's no way you could have a full time job, and do all the things he does for JG on top of it. You would have no time to eat or sleep.
