Well, the next quarter starts tomorrow. If the Invoicing of the new diesels is being held off for some reason that is date related, tomorrow would theoretically be a big KZ day. If they are waiting for all diesels in the first production cycle to be completed that will be soon as well. If there is some other reason,

There's probably a million factors which go into the release date.

Just to make you a little crazier - when my Jeep was built on Friday, they updated my estimated delivery date from 10/10 to 10/9. If that was done with any sort of consideration of the release date, I'd say they are JUST around the corner. We all know, though, that the estimated shipping dates don't actually have any bearing on reality right now.

Maybe the delay is due to the cloaking device they are installing in all of them. That would explain why nobody can see them (except Chevy who waved to them when they left JNAP).

Oh I'm definitely not the only one.. And for the record, ALL of them are NOT gone. Nor is that what I said. (I know it wasn't you who misquoted me.) But a great many of them have left each of the 3 lots surrounding the plant where they were being held. And new cars (including more diesels) have gone in.

Personally, (not that anyone listens), I think the recent surge over the course of the last month in build volume has become a bit of a problem when everything built hasn't been moving. I'd venture to say September has been one of the best months for production this year, if not the best. We worked every Sunday this month, and averaged over 600 cars a shift. Problem is, as I've said before, the lots are only so big. And if everything you put in them doesn't get taken out, they WILL fill up! And overflow. Which is why some cars (that are assumed to still be here) have been "elsewhere" for weeks.

But when cars start getting trucked out of here in significant quantities, it means that "shipping" has begun. Maybe unofficial by some people's standards, but it doesn't get any more official than that! They're gone bye bye! Same thing happened with the SRT shipping. I remember reporting that on here 'early' (I guess) and getting in a bit of trouble with my source. Fortunately nobody really paid attn. until Milous posted it later. Exact same thing is happening now. Except I was given approval.

Remember I told you all they'd sit for a month, for QC and other crap, then they'd start moving?.. Well here ya go. *clears throat* Anybody remember the 'official' NAFTA CRD production start date? I bet I'm within a week!

So call it offsite staging, paper shuffling, quarterly earnings manipulating, whatever.. It's all speculation. But they are moving. And that's a fact Jack!

As long as people are speculating and sorry if this has already been covered:

Based on Chevy's intel that CRD's are moving and the fact that none of our jeeps have moved according to MOTS, might the ones that are moving be dealer stock CRD's?

Pure speculation, but maybe Chrysler wants to fill their channels first before the sold orders move. It could benefit Chrysler by having vehicles on lots for sale sooner = more CRD sales. If this was happening, it benefits us (glass is half full here) by reducing the temptation for our dealer to use our jeeps for test drives.
