Wowsers. And I thought *I* typed a lot! But rest assured, that most certainly was not a tl;dr post!

Yeah, I wasn't around for that. But I'll tell you that within just a day or two of reading this forum it was clear that your comments were to be trusted. It's hard to beat the Mark-I Eyeball! Of course sometimes there's a little processing/interpretation of the data from the M1E which can lead to confusion (such as seeing things leaving ostensibly implying shipping has begun) which is understandable.

And trying to help has become tiresome.
Well, it would be totally understandable if you gave up trying to help. But rest assured your input is highly valued, at least by myself, and I assume many others.

And I also thank you for your part in getting my Jeep built.

Quote:
So sorry for the confusion, but trust me, you're not really confused.
Thanks!

Really can't thank everyone enough for all the help/input that's been provided, even if it's confusing at times.

We love to theorize on the diesel because that's all we can do...

Please don't take our theories as our distrust for your input but rather our complete lack of an ability to full comprehend the situation via the bits of info you are giving. We are... Umm yea not the sharpest knives in the drawer maybe? Haha

Anyway thanks for the continued input we truly do appreciate it.

Oh wait, maybe those trucks were taking them up on the roof!? (Why, I never looked there? )

All sarcasm aside, I would love to tell you, but I can't at the moment. And again, for the record, I didn't say it was software related, you did.
Hmmm ,Just a thought,Chevyboy mentions the roof. COBO Hall where the annual North American Auto Show is held is only about 7km away from JNAP and they have a large roof deck for parking, Secure and away from prying eyes. I mean ,how the heck do 1,100 CRDs just vanish? Just a thought.

My optimistic view on my status "L" would be they are waiting for a skid plate, or something else, to not be in short supply. After all why put a skid plate that is in short supply on a vehicle that can't ship anyway.

Really the question is do you think the several Overland CRDs that seem to be in my situation will ship with the others or be further delayed.

I believe that all JGC will be released and moved fairly quickly all at once. I also do believe this to be a short term issue, otherwise they wouldn't still be building them.

The Critical Mass problem that Chevy refers to is correct. There is a Finite amount of storage available before they need to be stacked on the roof!

Re: 2014 diesel production

Can either Marlon or Chevy go start my truck to ensure the battery stays charged?

Thanks

Mine too. I was thinking about that while driving down the road. Can you imagine 1100 CRDs with dead batteries? Maybe that's the real issue? How would that be managed?

Are we all status "L"? Or are you saying regardless ours will ship with the others....

Re: 2014 diesel production

Hi All,
Shame about yet another delay, I guess I can deal with that. I just saw my build sheet though and was wondering why no Hill Ascent feature? That is something I've read about and was looking forward to. Can anyone expand on this. Thanks for all the input from everyone. Cheers.

It is currently not available on the Diesel and will either be a "late availability" item or could possibly not launch until the next model year.
