So I am getting married this evening to my love of 7 years, I have no less than 12 people living at my place all this past week and it occurred to me that tomorrow is a new day. So probably for the next day or two I won't be around much but before I go something was bugging me from a few days back that I thought important to post here (sorry, it won't help your diesel needs).

A few days back Chevy posted that diesels were moving and very likely it seemed that Milous and I had some differing opinions on this. After reading through all of the posts I realize that I made some errors in what I was writing and wanted to talk about that. When I say physically, I should probably say "as far as I see" because the truth of the matter is Chevy is completely correct.... More often than not, the data that Milous and I see can be delayed while information is updated. What Chevy and Marlon see with their own eyes is the most up to date a physical thing that can actually happen. The day that we were getting moment to moment VIN announcements from the floor cannot be compared to any other experience that could ever happen in a forum of this kind and I never want anyone to forget that.

Chevy and Marlon have no reasons other than their interests in being here. I can even say that I am more motivated to check this information more often for you all simply because I am also waiting for a diesel myself. It is very difficult to tangibly thank these guys for the information that they provide and I wanted to make absolutely crystal clear that there is no info more up to date than the information that they provide.

So as is inevitable, do to the fact that some of us are not physically there, we will see differing information from time to time. I can guarantee you this though, if Chevy says your VIN is parked somewhere or went somewhere, it very much trumps the info that I have.

So anyway, starting the next step in my life tomorrow, and I had high hopes my White Summit would be here for my Wedding. It is not, and that is OK. All I wanted to get out there is that this experience would not have been as thrilling without Chevy and Marlon on the Floor. There are those on this forum that paint all JNAP employees with the same brush and I wanted to say it isn't so and I hope all of you here would correct those elsewhere in this forum that don't believe these guys give their utmost every day!

Also, just remember it isn't Chevy and Marlon's fault that our Diesel's have not shipped but it is certainly their livelihood. I am sure I will love mine when it gets here.

Will,
First of all, I want to congratulate you on your big day. Second, I really appreciate all you do for us. I know it is difficult when you get info over the computer, and if differs from what others are actually seeing. Most of us in this forum understand that all of you have our best interests in mind, and are trying to pass along what limited information is available. Again, thanks for all you do,and have a wonderful wedding!!!

Re: 2014 diesel production

Congrats on your lifestyle change (lol). Going from single to married is a great experience. I also want to echo the sentiments on how much I feel empowered on this site. Having members that actually build our machines is not only cool, it gives us a small (but huge) window into what is happening. This makes me feel for our Aussie members because those boats are too slow. I know I will be extremely happy once the CRD's start to ship. I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone at JNAP and JeepGarage. Woot!!!

May I add my hearty congratulations to Will also. My wife and I recently celebrated 25 years. Best decision of my life, and not unlike the CRD, I had to wait and wait for her also (two years of asking before I got a first date), but it was worth it and I'm sure the wait for the CRD will be as well.
