I might go to that Jeep Festival in Butler one day, the birth place of the vehicle that replaced the horse.

It did seem like they didn't notice there was a problem till I called.
Hmmm... Figured one would disappear at some point I guess it was yours.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Well I have accepted the fact that I probably won't have my new JGC for my trip in November to Austin. Now, I am hoping to have the Car before my Christmas trip to New England; I am starting to doubt this will happen as well.

Got a Pirate's cap yesterday, eventhough I am a SF Giant's fan. The Giants used to go to the Pirates for spares (hi! Freddie Sanchez). I guess no longer. So long as the Dodgers don't win, I don't care.

Willx, do you how these things "disappear" from time to time? Bad frame? I would think they could fix most anything else. Anyway,if it was something like that, I'm glad they are starting fresh.

What is the date of the November trip?

Chevy covered it awhile back. The fact that your VIN changed means that your original vehicle still exists. It was likely repaired and repurposed for something else.... Or went somewhere for testing..........................

I could be wrong and Chevy will definitely correct me but I thought if the vehicle has been written off early in the process that the VIN would have been rebuilt.

Can you confirm they are still building them or not. If they stop building them, it would suggest they had no plans to ship anytime soon. They may also be simply using up the diesel stock that is on hand and the stop was planned weeks in advance. Is Italy still shipping engines? That would say a lot. As soon as Italy stops sending engines it is probably better to put them in Vehicles than store them somewhere. It is a two week trip from Italy I think. So if they stopped shipping 2 weeks ago then they would just be getting to the end of them now...

I'm sure I am over thinking this.

To Bad my Bucs here in Tampa aren't having a better season. I got a free cap at PNC when we were there.

If we have to wait that long I bet people would be jumping ship. Not me, I've been waiting well over a year for this car and can live with the wait. This has got to be costing them dearly. I wonder if it is big enough to effect their quarterly earnings?

I saw one or two change from D1 to built status in the tracking thread in the last few days.
