Trust me they are shipping, I've lived in metro detroit all my life and have seen backups because of holds before.... or new launch releases... Thanks to the wonderful economy in detroit there are plenty and I mean plenty of abandon plants, factories, and dispatch facilities that are gated and thats where they sit guarded until released NOT the shipping yard

Yeah, I'm no expert, but I can't see any way they'd put them in that lot unless they were shipping imminently - otherwise they'd block other vehicles from shipping.

So even if they're not shipping today, you'd think they must be shipping within the next couple days.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Mine is a black forest green overland with the 18" wheels. I'm not sure if they install the side steps at the factory or if the dealer does that after delivery.

Don't go out of your way looking for it just for me. I'm sure it will take at least 2-3 days to get from Michigan to Oregon.

Thanks for posting those photos and giving us some hope!

Man that's a lot of parking spaces. I'm sure more than 1,700. Looks like they might be on their way.

Re: 2014 diesel production

There is a demurrage charge if they sit on that property for longer than a given period of time, and with the amount of vehicles produced in that area it won't be for long. There is no way that Jeep is moving them there to park. If not today, I would definitely say soon! This is great news!
