Re: 2014 diesel production

It was actually really cool to sit there and watch the parade! went back and forth on my color selection till I saw a white summit and now I'm happy! and got my estimated time of delivery!!!! so I know its gonna be built!

Re: 2014 diesel production

Well at least the EcoBusses are shipping, I know that the folks over on EcoBusGarage.org have been up in arms for months due to the constant certification delays.

I think the ecobus was delayed due to no shoulder belts. They only have lap belts which held up the process. I agree they should be happy now.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Well wonder which will arrive first: Ectodiesels or Bay Trail tabs.

Re: 2014 diesel production

so milous info On my delivery is
Current Status: D1
D1 status date: 10/11/2013
Estimated delivery: 11/04/2013
dealer just emailed me expected delivery day 11/11 is that normal? or are they trying to have it for a few days for test drives? or is it just standard to have 7 day flex time. I would be ticked if I ordered a vehicle and they are allowing people to demo it

As much as I want my CRD, I completely agree with this. Anyone know if this is standard practice?

YES it is, sadly.... It is cheaper for the car companies to hire 40 people and a bus then it is to hire licensed driver and 8 car haulers..... sadly I was offered this job before

That's a shame. It makes it seem less "brand new."

Very true but if no damage is done, the truth is that we will rack up more miles in the first day or two than all the transport miles before. Its just the idea of it that is bothersome.
