Actually, I don't think that it was running at the time at all. It happened during the 2005WK>2011WK changeover.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Vtail snuck off and may have found his unicorn: I think it is true love.
Note - he was last seen driving it at high speeds down I-94 towards Minneapolis - with the Detroit Police in close pursuit - I think he may have lost them when the turbo kicked in

I haven't seen all the pics you took, but I'm SURE this one is top 5 material!

I mean, how cool is it that Vtail was able to find his baby! It's the kind of thing that makes you feel like it all was supposed to happen. None of this would have happened if you guys had already taken delivery. I probably would've just opened it up to the entire forum, and had some different (although equally deserving guys) jump at it first. But as with all things in life, everything happens for a reason. And in the long run, the outcome of the 'process' always seems to make it all make sense. And then looking back in hindsight, we can always appreciate the story that comes with our blessings. (Not to sound too preachy, but this is just my take on the whole situation.)

The only thing that would make it all better is an all out shipping blitz in the coming week.

Can't thank you guys enough for coming..

These guys are great, and I have never met people who take so much pride in their work. Chevy, who drives a Dodge, and works at Jeep gave us a awesome personal tour of the plant. I took a lot of pictures, and yes, I can actually say this - our unicorns are REAL. I saw them with my own eyes. When they ship is anybody's guess, but they really do exist (however, did not see any skittles).
Made new friends, and had a GREAT day!!!
Have lots of pictures to post, but have to get up early tomorrow, so I will post a few to keep the interest.

Here is where it all begins: JNAP - Jefferson North
Very happy for you in the land above finally you get to drive One of the best diesel's you will ever drive
You will never go back to a V8 petrol

Hope it is as good as ours

Re: 2014 diesel production

Actually forgot to take any pics of my own, but this is one "Mrs. Chevy" took of us before we bumped into Marlon.. Shannon has more pics of the scenery behind us, as well as many many more.

Right to left; Kirk (Vtail), Jerry (Brainstormer), Shannon (as himself ), Ron (Vtail's buddy.. very funny guy), and myself (Devin)

Hopefully this whole event serves as an additional spark for more interest in the OFFICIAL JG meet that's been discussed at length for next spring/summer. It's always great when ppl from vastly different backgrounds can come together bc of common interests, and just have a good time.. This pic may look a little weird to some, but when you really think about it, we're all not that different after all!
