Hopefully yes....if the blood orange paint came out today I would reorder though (that color is amazing and I am not really one for subtle)

Or, 6 or 8 months.... OK that's not funny but yes I am as frustrated as the rest of you.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Just looking in the forums, and I noticed this thread it the third largest thread in all of Jeep Garage. I think Scott needs to move this thread up above the line to the permanent thread section. It just goes to show that we have a great group of people here patiently waiting (but barely so). At least we have Jeep Garage to pass the time.

Went to a local dealer in the St. Louis area today. Salesman told me that they expect 2 CRDs at the end of the month. He claims Jeep told him that they haven't shipped yet because they want to have enough inventory to ship to all regions at once. Sounds like a load of crap to me. Just thought I'd share with everyone. Ordered my unicorn over 3 weeks ago and it's still sitting in production scheduled status. Trying to sell my 2010 Patriot limited in the meantime.

Well maybe we're the problem then and this all our fault. They were planning on shipping a couple to every dealership so they could make a big launch and have a couple for people to test drive. They could then just sit back and count the orders coming in. But since the dealers knew they had a couple, like any good salesmen, they sold them and now don't have any inventory for their lot? BAD JG

Re: 2014 diesel production

Hello everyone, first time posting here, just reading everything as I wait for these to hit the dealerships . . . then I have a decision to make . . . Keep my 06 Xterra OR (nothing wrong with it and only 55k miles) and get an 2010 Rx8 for fun, or trade in my X and get one of these. I really want to test drive one before I make any decisions, but an 8 just just showed up, right color, manual and low miles that won't last long . . . decisions decisions! Hurry up and ship the diesels so I can make my mind up! I have already driven the Hemi and V6 along with the diesel Toureg so I have a good idea of what to expect, just torn and board at work.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Yeah, I like the ride of the VW, but the rotary engine is just as addictive . . . not the torque, but the 9krpm redline that is as smooth as silk lol

Welcome to the forum Rotorhead. Your name implies you are maybe a heli guy? I had an Enstrom for a few years but sold it when I couldn't find any practical utility value out of it.
