It was an F28A. Nothin' fancy but fun to fly, much nicer than the R22 with much better rotor head mass and autorotation behavior.

More than 5000 lbs and I would go electronic, but what i am seeing of yours I am guessing is around 3500-4500 with trailer. What length is that? (looks around 20')
My avatar is my 2004 Sea Ray 220 Sundeck, that I absolutely love. Back in 2004 they were actually 23' (Sea Ray kept the numbers but made the boats smaller in recent years). Loaded with fuel and water it comes in at just under 5,000 lbs before the trailer. So I am thinking maybe 6,000 to 6,500 with trailer. The thought always was that this or the 240 is about the largest boat that can be hauled without being ridiculous.

I keep it on the Delaware and am on it every second that I can be. Lots of places to go on the Delaware and can even go through the C and D canal to Chesapeake. However, can only reasonably boat the Northern Chesapeake. With JGC CRD the southern Chesapeake, NY lock system, Finger Lakes, Thousand Islands, and many other options open up.

BTW Philly is not such a bad place to boat to.

Re: 2014 diesel production

For what it's worth, saw the dealer that ordered my 2014 JGC Ecodiesel back the first week in August at a social function last night. He told me he had participated in a Jeep regional supplier conference call in the last couple of days and the question was asked why 2014's weren't shipping. He was told that there was excessive engine noise getting to the cabin. Engineers were looking at whether to dampen the noise in the engine compartment or in the cabin.

Re: 2014 diesel production

I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Just got the email that they've started production on my GC. Might be a good sign, that they will be shipping out the already built's, to make room for new builds!?!

This had better be someone's fantasy! Early drives of early builds said nothing of excessive noise in cabin.

There must be a pretty good reason for the delay. There is probably $100m+ of finished Ecodiesels by now.

Re: 2014 diesel production

I don't know if anything is a good sign. We placed our order in the middle of September, it hit the paint booth on Oct 1st, and has been in final inspection for two weeks now.
