I can tell you this, those Jeeps that were on display last week are no longer there. And obviously won't be good for anything but demo considering they were sat in by hundreds of ppl, and probably scratched up a bit. Which would make sense as to why the Open House was scheduled for when it was.. They probably had em detailed, and are parked in a lot with a few more in Auburn Hills, just waiting to be driven away by reps.. So I'm guessing Monday you all will see movement. They can do their deal for the cameras while y'all's are riding the rails... Hopefully!
Hey Chevy, how are we looking for Monday?

Jeep.com told me Thursday KZ. I'm sure they were guessing, but it could come true. I could win the lottery too. Yeah, could happen.

Re: 2014 diesel production

This seems like the appropriate group to post a quote by Aristotle in:
"Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy."

He may have been sold a lemon and it is appropriate that he be taken care of in the appropriate manner. However, spamming multiple forums multiple times eventually crosses the line. The wrong people are being yelled at. There are more appropriate ways of dealing with the problem. Fortunately, my state has lemon laws. If a car is that bad, you are not at the manufacturers mercy to address it. Hopefully, he finds a way to channel his anger that will actually help him and not become disruptive to those who had nothing to do with his problem.

What is the FSM? Regardless, again I ask why did the latest 2014 JGC Owners Manual get updated to show 130 ft/lbs of torque on the lug nuts. It did say 110 in the previous edition.

Factory Service Manual. No idea why the latest OM shows 130, will keep an eye out for FSM updates to see if anything changes.

Thanks, I'm baffled now that 3 Chrysler publications post 3 different torque specs, User Guide=110, Owner Manual=130, FSM=100. I guess the FSM variance of +/-15 covers the user guide though.

Re: 2014 diesel production

I just last weekend rotated my tires and tightened the lug nuts all to 110 ft-lbs; no wonder it seemed a little excessive.

I have officially been at D1 for 30 days (D1=9/20). A quick review of the order status page shows that 7 of 9 with a D1 of 9/20 or 9/21 have been built. No CRD's being tracked have been built since 10/8, with both myself and IATEYOURCAT still in the queue.

Are CRD'S on hold until the backlog is shipped?
