Glad there are so many choices so we can each get what we want........Well at least dream of what we want till our SFU's are delivered.
Thanks Shannon, there does seem to be a lot of choices if you're not getting the Summit. But choices I want to make they just don't allow. So I'll see once I see more of them in the dealers lots to give me a better idea of what really looks good in person. Once again. And so it goes.

I really wanted to like the Auburn, seeing some of the pictures here you could really make out the orange flake, but seeing it in person made the choice even harder. In the sun I loved the color, but under cloud cover it was just to brown for my taste. I ended up with the DCR but kind of wish I would have gone white now and just had it repainted with a pearl white later. Would be nice if they allowed for all the color choices on the summit but alas you just have to chose the least objectionable option I guess

Heard earlier today that the reps drive away thing won't be tomorrow. No update as to when now. For me that's the only thing left that signals an ensuing 'KZ' blitz.. 99% of the time the reps/dealers briefing and drive away happens first. So we'll see.. But again, I'm short on solid info at the moment.

I kind of want the Auburn but I have to see it in person first. But then I want the indigo interior and that only comes in the Overland. Decisions decisions decisions!!!!!

I saw an Auburn at JNAP and it did look nice. I believe the Chrysler 300 or 200 comes in an Auburn, same color, and you might be able to find a local dealer with one of those just to see the color.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Not that you need yet another glowing review to justify your wait - but here it is anyway (courtesy of Snuke who was first on to it this morning).

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland review | carsguide.com.au

ETA: This is an Aussie review hence the growth %'s given and also the Summit is not available yet in Aust.

Notice the other v6 diesels compared where in the 125 to 160 kW range. The EcoDiesel 3.0 is 177 kW. Nice!

Thanks Vtail, I did see a Chrysler car at a dealer last Friday and the salesman told me it was not a match because they had a Summit Auburn Hemi in the showroom not long ago and it was darker he said. I asked could it have been the light. And he indicated he didn't think so. So that's why I have to see this myself. I guess there is no substitute like seeing it in front of you; and the fight goes on.

I believe the Aussie one is 184kw. Pretty sure the USA get the same specs.
