Ummm I might be able to find that out for sure, but I don't think that is a problem.

This strikes me as the most sensible thing said on this thread in a loooong time... No way they would be retuning the engine at this stage, that would mean months of delays and basically redoing the whole powertrain.

Not that it helps to figure out what the delay is... But frankly I don't care what the reason is, just ship the damn cars already!

We can discuss most of the delays after the release....

The CARB issue was an official hold.

But it will only be available on summits as a 15.725 model year update.

Q7? If so, Cayenne. Trust me. Lol

Re: 2014 diesel production

Reading this makes me remember why I decided on the JGC over all the other diesels. Can't wait to get mine....

Re: 2014 diesel production

i keep going over this in my mind. In the plant tour, we did not see the paint area, we did not go out into the yards, and there were a few other areas off limits.
Some ideas:
-Crash testing with diesels - which would explain the previous post about needing the final regulatory release on 10/25
-headlight issues (but this would not explain the gassers being released)
-Additional sound proofing
-???? got nothing else at this point.

Vtail, Brainstormer - and Ideas?

Still wondering why the last will go KZ first (other than our first builds are stuck in the middle of the lots). What needs to be done to the first builds, that were already done on the last builds. What changed in the build process over the past 2 months?

I'm thinking part shortage-not part issue. BTW - VOTS says I'm in Final Inspection! Alright!

There was the discussion about the builds from 9/27 and later but that was about the connector for the starscan...however I believe that is all rectified.

I believe that the soundproofing was debunked. Additionally headlights/paint are no different between us and the gassers.

Still no Fuel Economy from the EPA however the TDI Audi A6 isn't there either.

I didn't see any seats

My brain hurts. I think I'll just wait till they ship then maybe we'll find out. Sounds like we're very close for real this time. I'm flying down to pick up my niece from college today for break. I need to focus on that today :-)
