Absolutely. I am a newbie and am really impressed with the help they are providing.

By the way, I lost track, did Shannon's unicorn get put on a south-bound train headed for Houston?

Shannon has been released from purgatory but not the yard, we will be checking for further movements this evening.

Your GC is built and sent to storage in one of many yards. It will show "I" until it goes "KZ" to ship. You are actually in "JS" status which is storage, unless they have additional rework and plan to bring it back...not likely.

Your energy and pride in your work is infectious and has definitely reinforced my decision to move to jeep from MB, and will influence future buying decisions to be sure. You men embody "made in America with Pride" and I think it's fantastic. Thanks again and I will definitely stick around after I take delivery of my JGC.

I could not put this any better, I wholeheartedly agree and also promise to stick around. Afterall, it will be our REAL reviews that will help future buyers and further the JEEP brand.

I have a lifetime maximum care quote from Harold Zeigler Automotive Group that covers diesel and 4x4 with $100 deductible for $2255. I plan on driving Overland CRD for many years

Seriously? That is good news. I tried to get a quote and no lifetime was available. Might want to call and reaffirm that. If its available, I'll be getting one.

Very interesting. Have you worked a quote with them over the phone? Their online application will only quote up to 8/120 MaxCare (as of now). If you uncheck the "Diesel" option, you get the LIFETIME option back in the drop-down.

Are you sure you clicked the correct initial warranty? If you select lifetime as your initial warranty it will allow this option but since the JGC doesn't come with one you wouldn't be able to buy this option.

You must know somebody who drove it straight to the Train ... This is either the only or one of two that has a rail departure already!

pause...

I am as surprised as everyone else. My first reaction was Chevy drove it.

On 10/18, I shared with all of you an email reply from Mike Manley, CEO where he apologized for the delays with the CRD launch and said he would have someone on the Jeep team to contact me upon shipment release. I did not expect anything to come from this information, but I appreciated his reply.

I received an email from Jeep mid-afternoon Friday requesting my VIN number. i was driving to see a client (and late) when the email came in, and I was unable to get right to it. As I was wrapping up conversation with the client, I received a phone call from Pontiac, MI. The call was from a Jeep team member wanting to know if I received the earlier email. I committed to reply momentarily, and he thanked me for the business, patience, and said he would "look into my order". I have not heard from anyone since.

I can only surmise that my rail push came from this correspondence. I gave Mike Manley kudos for his earlier email reply; I give him MEGA-kudos for following through with the commitment to have a team member contact me. While I am obviously an unexpected beneficiary, I see this as a giant leap from Jeep corporate in regards to customer service improvements. Effective change starts and the top, and this is certainly encouraging to me. Thanks to Mike and Brad...

Good luck to those of you still getting through process. I continue to root for your quick release and track your progress. It is difficult to fully express my excitement in my good fortune until I see the whole team at play.

The JEEP Gods surely shined on me today.

Curious. You definitely should verify the details. Some of us might want lifetime with the diesel if it is for real.
