No deposit but did sign a purchase contract good til 10/31. I just think 10-11 days late should be close enough to honor the deal...I plan to stop in tomorrow or on the 31st and see what they say. Looks like we may be getting ready to move west.

Yeah, since you had no control over the delay it seems silly to hold you to the 31st but if they want to play that game check the TX group buy and see if the price/wait would be worth it to you. I know if it were me I would take my deposit back today and tell that dealer good luck and just buy from TX but I have a vehicle that I can drive without worry for now.

They really push for those end of the month sells when they stand outside and bum rush any car that pulls into the dealership. Then like you said there is always another dealer.
I sat in the Deep Cherry Red/Grand Canyon Brown, Hemi...And said wow this is what I want! Then over time I noticed there was red everywhere. ...Figured I would not be able to find it in a parking lot...So I went with the Deep Auburn. I have seen it in a Summit V6 gas and it looks different than the cars painted with the same color name...I have seen it in all light conditions and to me it looks great and maybe I can hide in a crowd. Good luck choosing, the red is really sharp too as are all the colors.

No. I am in South Dakota, but we may ride a train together for part of the trip!

I have an interesting situation where I ordered from a friend who owns a dealership with nothing down, just my word. I told him what deals I could get elsewhere and that I didn't want to offend him by haggling. He said tell him the deal and he would do it, if possible...so the GC got ordered as "sold". We'll see if the "can do" attitude is still there when the vehicle arrives! I'm expecting 4% below invoice with the same terms as the AccessFund discount. I could do better but would have to pull a Chivv or Shannon and the extra 1-2% probably wouldn't make that up. We'll see.

I think I read earlier that the headlamps can have some initial fogging but goes away. And yes, there is a difference between driving a 2.7 ton SUV vs a car....
ps. looks just like the one I ordered. A thing of beauty...

Another Washington guy waiting, eh? I feel like they must be holding the whole group of us for a particular train or something similar.

Mine is headed out to the islands, so maybe they're going to ship it through the lakes, down the Erie Canal, through the Panama, and chug straight into Bremerton. If anyone needs me I'll be bobbing along in the Straight of Juan de Fuca with my driving gloves on.

You may not be acclimated to the slight lag of the turbo. The accelerator responds different at low speeds/off idle. Mash down on it to spin the turbo and she'll get up and go for you!

Fogging in the headlamps is normal and will go away soon. Make sure you take it out of eco mode. Eco mode, in my opinion, makes the Jeep drive much worse. Otherwise, congrats, and the Jeep looks great! I almost got the exact Jeep you have but with the HEMI.

Totally correct but also switch to sport if you want snappy shifts as well, otherwise it is trying to hold higher gears.
