I have seen it in a Summit V6 gas and it looks different than the cars painted with the same color name...I have seen it in all light conditions and to me it looks great and maybe I can hide in a crowd. Good luck choosing, the red is really sharp too as are all the colors.
I'm sure you made a great choice. I have yet to see one other than online and in the dealers guide. You know there is nothing like seeing it in person.

LOL - well, no worries there. Just got off the phone and while it may be possible, the logistics are too much, so no dice.

Is there any way to find a list of Summit 4x4 Diesel (with Cashmere Pearl and Brown interior) that have been built, have or are shipping that are not sold yet and what dealer they are going to?

Work might change for both my wife and I, so ordering now and getting past the end of Nov might be more difficult than we originally thought.

Thanks!

Warning: Sausage making info ahead.

To VOTS, KZ is the same as KZT. You can have a situation where you log in to VOTS and see a "Shipment". If you have not received an email from VOTS, that means it is in "pure" KZ. Once you receive that email, it's on or past KZL.

Soon there will a bit more for you to see but VOTS will still be behind MOTS.

I want my KZZ !

Congrats to those that already went KZ. It won't be long before you get funny looks when you're filling up at the diesel pump!

I have to have my wife check out the JGC as we love our 13 Outback but plan to order around Thanksgiving.
Signed up for LVL 4 today as well since I know I will be tracking once I order.
Thanks for the help. Was going to order a 15 Outback but finally Jeep started delivering the diesel.
Test drive any JGC and you won't look Outback.

I'm in the same 'boat' (pun intended)

Re: 2014 diesel production

I would expect some smells as things are broken in. After a hundred miles or so I might start to worry.

I ordered the exact same truck you did, so you know I agree with your tastes. I have been reading your posts on this and believe first that you have gotten good advise from garage members, second that your dealer is not being entirely honest with you, and lastly it doesn't really matter about the second point if you follow the first one.

When I ordered my SFU I got a POC or "Priced Order Confirmation" from my dealer stating to the penny, in writing, what I am paying for exactly what I am buying. That was back on the original first possible order date of 8/9. Jeep is honoring the price to the dealer, despite a price increase since then, and the dealer is honoring the printed price they gave me. I don't understand why your dealer would not do that for you no matter how long it takes Jeep to deliver.

That being said, despite all of the usual month end pressure, perhaps they are trying to pad this months sales. Who cares, as long as you get what you want, can get out of it if they pull an Audi Temerarius on you, and you get something for giving them something.

You have already worked your deal on the car. Can you get them to give you a better deal on your trade in, warranty, lock nuts for your rims, cargo mat, or some other item? There is no way their price on an ordered vehicle will go up come Nov. 1st. However, that doesn't mean that you can't play ball with them and get something in return.

I agree... looking at the shipments from the last several months in MOTS, the average is one or two days from hitting KZ to getting on a train. I am now at T+5 and counting.
