Nah, I don't think that's the reason it's quieter. I think it's largely because most of the SFUs have KZ'd. There's no more guessing games as to what the (latest) holdup is, and things are now mostly in the hands of the shipping companies.

Re: 2014 diesel production

MOTS seems to be updating a fair bit tonight. To bad my SFU hasn't been Staged or Loaded yet

Speak for yourself!! I've been trying to be the patient one throughout this (almost 2 year) process... But now that we are KZ I have been refreshing 8 times a day looking to see if my SFU has hopped a ride on the rail yet. . Guess I hit my breaking point.

I feel that 11/6 delivery date slipping by the moment.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Actually contrary to popular belief, I am unable to take possession of mine yet and the only reason I have been quite is working and gathering some more info for you guys.

So one VERY important thing that has been discussed here numerous times is the filler nozzle. Because I pay attention and make notes about what people want to know, as soon as I got my hands on mine I started looking at things you guys wanted to know about.

So the Filler Nozzle on the Tank is INDEED different than the gas model, the diameter is larger and the mechanism is a little different. I believe this to make for compatibility with the oversized Diesel Pump Spouts. I will try to find a Truck Stop style Fuel Pump tomorrow to see how this has been dealt with.

Also as many of you have been aware, I have been responding to PMs about shipping questions etc, so please know that Milous and I are doing our very best to keep up. There are lots of questions and lots of updates and that will only get busier so on behalf of Milous and anyone else here who assists with the information flow, please be patient... We often only have the info we see.

THX!

Will,

Re: 2014 diesel production

Excellent info Willx…. one overall question. Do you guys have any preference or info on what stations we should try to go to for Diesel fuel? I have heard many people say to always get good fuel that is fresh… AKA at a local place that is busy so the diesel doesn't sit too long. I have a Mobil, Shell, Sunoco, Speedway, etc around me, which is best place for me to go?

I started a new thread about this a month ago, but it soon died a cruel $9 VW-TDI spout adapter death. Thank you for noticing my (and probably many others) interest in the matter.

No offense taken, but as long as everyone reads it, when another member complains, you guys can say what is really going on.

Communication!!!
