I have a Mobil, Shell, Sunoco, Speedway, etc around me, which is best place for me to go?
Sleepy Stations who don't sell much, sell bad gas and bad diesel.

Bad Diesel is less of a problem these days. Now that you will all have the greater driving distance per tank, you will find your favorite places to buy Diesel. The good price places for diesel are always busier, because with an extra few hundred miles driving range you can plan your fuel station visits better.

Not speaking entirely for Milous, but we both read many things, I hate to give half a$$ed answers so sometimes I just log it and take a look when I get one to play with.

Thx!

Re: 2014 diesel production

Hey guys, been following this thread since spring figured I should probably finally make a post. I'm looking to get my own SFU here in the near future. Not sure if I should order or try to find one at a dealer. I'm in northern minnesota so maybe vtail or shannon may know of a good dealer. The 3 I've been taking to don't seem to know muck or care about getting a crd in stock. Not sure if id be able to get a better deal ordering or finding one from dealer stock. (Or which way would be faster). Anyway, glad I finally joined up.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Been following for a while and I feel like I know all of you. I've laughed, I've cried... now I just want to know where my White /Brown w/ lt frost 4x4 Overland is!!! Put money down in March (yes, March! Was deployed overseas at the time and someone took my money and promised me a car when I got home). Any way, as any new guy knows, I'll keep my mouth shut,... but... a little help finding EC314802 would be GREATLY appreciated...

So one VERY important thing that has been discussed here numerous times is the filler nozzle. Because I pay attention and make notes about what people want to know, as soon as I got my hands on mine I started looking at things you guys wanted to know about.

So the Filler Nozzle on the Tank is INDEED different than the gas model, the diameter is larger and the mechanism is a little different. I believe this to make for compatibility with the oversized Diesel Pump Spouts. I will try to find a Truck Stop style Fuel Pump tomorrow to see how this has been dealt with.

THX!

Will,
Will, did you notice if they come with a funnel to get past both flaps in the filler in case you need to fill from a container? I know they ship the new Cummins diesels with a funnel for this purpose.

They do for the gas models. I will compare for the diesel in the morning and post back.

I can look in the morning and give you an idea of where it is at as a courtesy. I would be doing an injustice to the supporting members going further than that. Supporting Members will acknowledge that we are very responsive to all of their tracking enquiries.

Thank you,
