Good Morning Diesel Production!!!

So now that I have done the little mid-term update of where people are and where they are going, I will share some other interesting info.
I managed to get the SFU out to stretch her legs this morning and test a few things. Firstly, I did drive to a truck stop and try out the Hi-Flo Diesel Pumps (to the panicked look of a number of people but it was raining so no one felt like getting wet and warning me I was putting diesel in my vehicle, as i was over in that "other area" with the big rigs
). The oversize spout definitely fits properly into the SFU Fueling port (I am having imagery problems here that maybe Chiv can help clear up). Anyway, at least the large straight type works very well that I have found most common at the typical diesel stop. You can't go full throttle but you sure can fill up fast!!
Driving in sport mode is not recommended for anyone who wants their vehicle to drive like an SUV. Similar to the Gas version she hunkers down right to start with when the green race flag comes up (Aero Mode for all those with air suspension) and stays in this mode. Unlike the gaser though she does get up into 7th and 8th at more reasonably high speeds. It encourages "on ramp exhilaration". I didn't ever kick it to the floor or even close, but I still got some BIG grins.
The smell that was noted is definitely external and nothing to do with tailpipe fumes... My dash around in the rain has cleared this all up today, there were no residual odors.
Specifically anyone who has the Summit coming, the Harmon system will bring out those harmonics in your hair follicles and nasal cavities that you may only feel in home theaters. Laugh all you want but my favorite test track is Jennifer Warnes - Somewhere Somebody, from "The Hunter" soundtrack. We used this track very often in live production, including one of the last Steppenwolf concerts I did. Nothing like a Bass and vocals to get the real experience.
