Re: 2014 diesel production

I'm "papered", why is it taking so long to get "staged for shipment". I just browsed my dealers online inventory and noticed MY jeep listed as available for purchase and "in transit." It made me crazy. I think I'm having an anxiety attack.

I've been sitting in paper receipt for three days now as well. Any idea when mine can be moving?

I just noticed mine's on the dealer website as "in transit" as well! Must be soon now!

Don't worry about it, as long as you have your order confirmation, they can't sell the car to somebody else.

You were loaded this morning at 8:33am

It should get as far as Kansas by Sunday ~ish

It is too tough for me to correlate destinations and departures but yes, there are a number of vehicles on various trains heading west already.

Yes, deep breath, in, out, in, out..... VOTS fibs a little (papered triggers that notice.

Yours will be on a rail car later today (if things still flow the way they are looking).

Driving in sport mode is not recommended for anyone who wants their vehicle to drive like an SUV.
Thanks very much for the description. Stupid question, never used a.Hi Flo pump before, did you feel like you could have overflowed it and had diesel shooting back at you?
I am guessing that you didn't like the sport mode because you lost full suspension?
BTW forgot about Good Morning Vietnam and what a great movie it was.

I have read not to fully pull the handle as it could over fill due to hi flow but not sure.

Any new news from the yards today Willx?

Re: 2014 diesel production

Another Note:

Had a couple of people ask about the torque feel. I would describe it like driving the older BMW M5. You feel that it is a big car so when lean into the pedal there is not an immediate response but I would not call it Lag as such. It PULLS HARD when she goes but the power distribution through acceleration is very even. You don't get the jerks that you get moving into each gear like many other diesel I have felt (It is a little more noticeable in Sport).

So to sum up a feeling, I am accelerating up a grade from a stop, and you think to yourself, Ahhh it isn't that fast.... Then you look down and go WTF!!!! I am doing 90 $@IT.... As I tap the brakes (I wasn't on a highway .

As noted in my prior post, I am not plowing my pedal to the floor either, I am not abusing my unicorn but I really felt at the higher speeds and fairly hard accelerations that with the radio on I was very much insulated from the outside world. Smooth consistent power, and nearly silent!

I hear you!

I went paper receipt on Saturday and Staged on Sunday....Nuttin' moved for me since then as far as I know.

My dealer's site showed 1 CRD (not mine)in transit 2 days ago. Then 2 yesterday (neither mine). And today has mine and the other 2 all in transit.

The suspense is killing me!

Re: 2014 diesel production

Can I ask a somewhat odd and nosey question? Why do some of you guys seem fearful to post your full VIN on this site when trying to get help viewing your window stickers? What could somebody do with your VIN…?
