Sorry if I'm getting antsy now that we're getting so close after this long wait. Thx to Will, Milous, Chev and all the others who are putting in so much (unpaid) time to help feed our obsession.
I agree. No fault of our insider friends on this forum who do their best to keep us informed, but mother Chrysler should be ashamed of their public relations (PR) and logistics efforts on behalf of those of us who've plunked down $thousands (at least in my case) in deposits on orders for vehicles we could not even test drive prior to ordering.

If it weren't for Will, Milous, and Chev, I'd have no clue what was going on. My dealer can't provide me with up to date information. IMO, Chrysler would be wise to take a hint from this forum so far as PR is concerned. Having the best SUV available is meaningless if you don't keep your customers informed. VOTS is a great idea in theory, but pales in comparison to MOTS.

I've only put about 200km (120mi) on it so far and I've been babying it. But tonight on the highway I had to juice it a bit to get into another lane and wow! From 100km/hr to 120 quickly and effortlessly. My old ride (Lincoln Aviator) had 302hp and I felt the difference big time. Never had a vehicle with this much torque. Now I see what everyone's talking about.

Say what you will, but I bet these guys had a blast getting that thing stuck. Chiv, I'm sure they will wash yours when it comes out of the mud pit.

Thanks!

It is partly the volume mixed with current production PLUS it is partially the short pause they hit on everything for a short bit.

They were ready to push everything out and then everything paused for a good part of a day, now they are winding up again.

Every Prediction I made about shipping could be off by up to 24 hours based on the information above but the mass exodus will still be this weekend.

I am sure some Chrysler execs are monitoring these forums.
Hopefully they will make notes and some changes will be made.

No insult to Will as I do not believe it is an insult to call software or firmware beta. When I read "This is not a verified fix with this version but past experience. UConnect Access subscribers may still experience some reboots after the install and up to 24 hours post. Again not verified but certainly with past versions." it is obvious that this is not the final version. I guessed it was beta but, you are right, it does not say this. I planned on installing it in either event.

From someone who roots every cell phone that they own, rooted their tablet, builds a computer whenever one is needed (14 currently running between work and the office), and does all their own networking and VPN maintenance, I regularly use beta software and firmware. I never really thought of this being an insult. If anything, the post was intended as a compliment. Will deals with this stuff, apparently for a living, if he says it I am going to trust him.
